June Beauty Favorites

Hello beautiful people! Happy July! Crazy right? My routine has changed a lot recently for the summer. I started working full time since I am not in school. I also find that beauty products tend to change in the summer to brighter and more light weight products.  My oily skin does not like makeup in the summer. Many of these products I wear to work everyday where I am an OMT, which isn't a glam makeup kind of job. I do not wear foundation to work, I just conceal and wear powder.  Let me know what products you have been enjoying in the month of June!

1. Benefit Roller Lash - I finally got on the Roller Lash band wagon. This stuff creates long, luscious, curled lashes that are not crunchy. My lashes still feel like lashes instead of crunchy chips.  This may be my new holy grail mascara. I have used this every single day this month.  I am between Roller Lash and the Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara.

2. Covergirl TruBlend Fixstick - I have a hard time with stick concealers. They are always too dry and pull on my skin, but this one is very creamy with a natural looking medium to full coverage. I use this every single day to quickly spot conceal my many acne spots for work. This helps me to feel confident while not wearing foundation.

3. Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer - My holy grail concealer for the past year probably is the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer, but in the hot weather that concealer was getting too shiny on me for a full day at work. I decided to pick up a new concealer and since I love the Ready Set Gorgeous foundation, I grabbed this.  This stuff is creamy with full coverage and does not get shiny on me. I now use this every day for work.

4. Smashbox 24 Hour Photofinish Eyeshadow Primer - I picked this up because of Nicole from YWP on Youtube.  Nicole raves about this stuff for her oily eyelids, and I have oil slick lids as well.  I love this stuff! I still find after 12 hours on a hot summer day I get a little creasing, but no where near what  I would get otherwise. If you have oily eyelids, I definitely recommend this!

5. Loreal Infallible Eyeshadow - This one in particular is in the shade Amber Rush. This shadow is INTENSE. What I love about this is it creates a beautiful one shadow look. I put this on my lid and buff out the edges in the crease a little and I feel ready to go.  I wore this for multiple job interviews for a simple and classy look.

6. Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder - I bought this powder a long time ago and felt it was too heavy with my foundation and put it away for a while.  I recently took it out and now use it every day when I don't wear foundation. I use the TruBlend Fixstick to spot conceal, then I use a large flat top powder brush to pack on this powder.  This powder has a medium coverage which allows my skin to show through while covering up my acne spots and evening my skin tone.

7. Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer - This stuff... guys... this stuff is amazing. I can't get enough. It smells like coconut and summer. It isn't shimmery, but it has a nice sun kissed sheen on the skin that looks so beautiful. I have never loved a bronzer this much.

8. Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips - My favorites are Echo Park and Magic Wand. I have a few of the Ultra Mattes which are just too dry.  These look matte on the lips once they dry down without a crusty look. These are not transfer proof whatsoever. The formula is so comfortable and feels like nothing is there. These are so opaque and beautiful.

9. Morphe Brushes - The brushes here are the E6 and the G2.  The E6 I use with foundation every time.  I like using this more than my beauty blender.  It gives amazing coverage with no streaks. It is just the best foundation brush ever.  The G2 I use to blend out my concealer and is also my go to brush for every day. The E6 is currently out of stock, but I will link it as soon as it's back!

10. Morphe 35O - I put off buying this for a long time. I didn't think I would ever wear orange eyeshadow and I already had a lot of warm neutral palettes.  I now love orange eye shadow and use this everyday I wear eyeshadow.  The shadows are buttery and pigmented and super blendable. You need this in your life.

11. BECCA X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette - I purchased this because I love Jaclyn Hill and have not purchased Champagne Pop because it is almost 40$ for one highlight. This helped me justify it because for 52$ you get 3 blushes and 2 highlights. For my June Favorites, really my favorite in this palette is Champagne pop, I use it every day. Prosecco Pop is a little dark for my skin and the only blush I use that much is Amaretto. The blushes are almost too pigmented that I shy away from them. Champagne Pop is amazing though so definitely check it out if you haven't!

BONUS

Rebecca Minkoff MAC Crossbody - This bag is perfect. I purchased this on Hautelook for 50% off I think. This bag is the perfect size to fit everything I need. I carry makeup, my wallet, lint rollers, as well as pens and other random things. They also have a more popular Mini MAC if you prefer a smaller bag.  I don't carry around a purse at school, but now that I am home for the summer I am back to using this every single day.
